We're glad you're joining us on this year-long adventure with God and His 27 love letters to us! We're excited about diving into the New Testament and hearing God speak to us through the life of Jesus.
We'll be reading one chapter per day, Monday through Friday, and Staci and I will post our comments on those days. The weekends will give you a chance to catch up on the reading, if needed, or go a little deeper. If you haven't already done so, please read the Prologue and "How this Book can Speak to You" from 66 Love Letters.
Helpful hints to get started:
1) Add yourself as a follower to this blog so we know you're here. You will need a gmail, twitter or yahoo email account to sign in. If you don't have one, it's very easy and quick to create. And please add a photo. We want to see you and get to know you!
2) One of us will post our thoughts by midnight so that when you log on to the blog, you will see the current day's post. If you want to add a comment, or see others' comments, click the comment link at the bottom of the post. It will bring up another window where you can write your comment and view others. That's totally expected and that's the beauty of being in community. Please jump into the comments so that we can share how the Bible fascinates us and confuses us....in order to "fit the 66 pieces of the jigsaw puzzle together." (66 Love Letters, xvii)
5) If you get behind in the reading, don't feel like you need to catch up before you jump back in. (You probably won't.) Just pick up at the current reading and move forward.

yay I'm in! love the new look :) happy new years! and i decided to sign in with my google account this year! lol. i dont know why it took me so long, but i think it'll be ok! ill update a picture later. love you all :) and so thankful for this community!
